IDiski Times has learned that Sizwe Sibiya has resigned as head coach of TS Galaxy Queens.
In a letter seen by this publication Sibiya said the decision to step down was not an easy one thanking Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi for the opportunity to lead the Hollywoodbets Super League side.
Sibiya has been with the side since they bought the status of Vasco Da Gama in 2023 helping them finished inside the top five before the new format of two streams. Sibiya leaves the Rockets in fourth place in the Super Era stream with 16 points from nine outings.
Away from Sibiya’s resignation this publication has discovered that players and members of the technical team have not been receiving their salaries consistently since the beginning of 2026. By September this year, the players and some members of the technical staff had not been paid for at least four months and were not given any explanation by management.
Meanwhile Galaxy have a league game against Diepkloof Ladies in the Eastern Cape on Friday 2 October and IDiski Times has also learned that the technical team and some senior players will not travel to the fixture.
