Durban City captain Siphamandla Ncanana has set his sights on a deep run in the CAF Confederation Cup, with the KZN outfit determined to make their mark on the continental stage.
The Citizens booked their place in the second preliminary round after eliminating Burundi’s Rukinzo FC 3-1 on aggregate.

They will now face Mauritius’ Port Louis over two legs, with a place in the group stages at stake.
Ncanana, who has always dreamed of competing in continental football, says he hopes Durban City can go all the way and lift the trophy.
“It’s one thing I wanted and now it’s happening, I hope we can go as far as winning it,” said Ncanana.
“For now, I won’t say I have acquired so much experience because we have played one round [home and away].
“When we reach the group stages, that’s where we’re going to see how difficult it will be. So, group stages will make us see where we are.”
