Kaizer Chiefs Ladies moved back to the summit of the standings after securing a thumping 3-0 win over Mamelodi 11 Stars Ladies in the Gauteng Sasol Women’s Provincial League at Naturena Village on Sunday.
Amakhosazana came into this tie on the back of a narrow win, claiming a hard-fought 1-0 win over Hallelujah Zebra Force on Heritage Day to increase their promotion chances.

This win also marked an unprecedented 15th unbeaten run on the trot as Unathi Mabena’s charges claimed 14 wins with a single stalemate while scoring 38 goals in the process.
Amakhosazana were once again in rampant mood in their match on Sunday with Lerato Makhanya opening the scoring just three minutes in.
Star player Lumka Qhekeka doubled Chiefs’ lead in the 17th minute as the home side took the huge advantage into the break.
The second period proved no different with Matobane Moshugi adding the third for the maximum points at home.
The Glamour Girls have now picked up 67 points and moved back to the summit of the log standings ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns and Wits University with just one more round of action left.
Their closest rivals are Wits in third place with 66 points and the encouraging factor for the ladies from Naturena is that Sundowns cannot be promoted to topflight football next season as they already have a team in the Hollywoodbet Super League.
Only one team between Chiefs and Wits can make it through to the national playoffs after matchday 30 where they will battle it out for a spot in the Hollywoodbet SL next term.
Their final league assignment will see them tackle the University of Johannesburg at home on 17 October.
