Gomora United forward Tiklas Thutlwa could attract a move away from the club, with agent Lebohang Mashishi confirming interest from teams in South Africa and outside.
The 27-year-old has made an impressive start to the Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign, topping the scoring charts with eight goals from seven matches.
Thutlwa has been in fine form in recent outings, scoring braces in consecutive matches. He found the net twice in a 2-1 victory over Upington City before repeating the feat in a 3-2 defeat to Cape Town City.
Mashishi confirmed that they are in discussions with interested clubs, both locally and in the Middle East, who have expressed interest in securing Thutlwa’s services.
“There’s clubs that were talking locally and outside, particularly Middle East,” said Mashishi.
Thutlwa’s current scoring form follows a remarkable return to action after a career-threatening injury disrupted his progress. The forward spent the 2024/25 season and the first half of the 2025/26 campaign out of action after sustaining the injury during his loan spell at Venda FC.
He joined Gomora United in January this year following his departure from Sekhukhune United and wasted little time making an impression, scoring eight goals in 10 appearances in the second half of the previous campaign.
