Marumo Gallants star Katlego Otladisa tells iDiski Times he is excited after his club were drawn to play TP Mazembe in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Bahlabane Ba Ntwa have advanced to the competition’s next round after winning 3-2 on aggregate, the first leg ended 2-1 at Peter Mokaba Stadium before a 1-1 draw in Congo.
Otladisa, though, says he knows it will be difficult, but it’s a good challenge to gain more experience in a continental football.
“Not an easy draw but exciting at the same time, a big challenge is always massive motivation to all players surely,” Otladisa told iDiski Times.
“We are still going to do video analysis of the game between them and AmaZulu and see if we can pick up a few things.”
The 25-year-old also added that his long-term injury in 2018 has disturbed his career but happy to be back playing again.
“I feel like my injuries delayed my career a bit, but then again we have to be humble and understand that some things happen for a reason I think I’m more than ready for any challenge now,” he explained.
Gallants resumed in the DStv Premiership earlier today, losing 1-0 away to Stellenbosch.
