Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies striker Rhoda Mulaudzi has revealed the secret behind the team’s success.
Mulaudzi has been one of the most exciting players at Mamelodi Sundowns as well as Banyana Banyana in the past few years.
In a Q&A with PUMA’s Doug Carew, the Banyana Ba Style goal-poacher has discussed what she thinks is the reason her side keep on winning.
“Team spirit, we play for one another, not as individuals. We are also having quick players and score lots of goals,” Maluadzi said.
“I see the team defending our Hollywoodbets Super League and CAF Women’s Champions League titles as well as playing in the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup.
“The coach is very funny, always laughing, easily approachable and off the field, he is like a father and a friend.
“He is a free-spirited man. However, when it comes to work, it is strictly work.”
Mulaudzi has also wished to play alongside the Moroccan and ASFAR FC star Fatima Tagnaout at Mamelodi Sundowns in the next coming season.
“The number 11 Fatima Tagnaout from Moroccan team ASFAR. She’s quick, smart, skilful and can dribble,” recommended Mulaudzi.
“Her passing ability also makes her a great team player, and she would bring a lot of positivity, especially with her attacking.”
