Benni McCarthy is understood to be getting ready to renew his UEFA Pro License while he is waiting for his next job.
The reigning DStv Premiership Coach of the Season left AmaZulu earlier this year, with the club claiming they were at risk of not achieving their targets.
The decision to part ways with McCarthy have left many stunned after his exploits in the DStv Premiership last season and in the CAF Champions League this campaign.
McCarthy has since been linked with jobs at Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United, but nothing has materialised as yet.
In the meantime, iDiski Times has learnt that the 44-year-old will renew his coaching badges in Scotland.
After parting ways with AmaZulu, he returned home to his family in Scotland, and while he is spending quality time with his family, the former Bafana Bafana star is not sitting idle.
Word on the grapevine is Benni is getting ready to renew his UEFA Pro Licence, which coaches are required to do every three years.
He will be popping in at some top clubs while he does this, and makes a decision on his next project.
