Sangare Aims For 3rd Successive Clean sheet Vs Swallows

Sekhukhune United goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare is aiming for his third successive clean sheet when his in-form side face Swallows on Friday.

The Ivorian international had stellar performances in his side’s 1-0 wins over Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC, shutting the opposition out in both to take his clean sheet record to four this season.

Against Chiefs at FNB Stadium, he earned a Man of the Match award after his side spoilt the Amakhosi’s 53rd birthday celebrations.

His performances have helped Babina Noko climb into the top eight after three successive wins.

The 36-year-old hopes to continue with this vein of form when they face Swallows at  Peter Mokaba Stadium.

“I’m so happy with the performance that we are getting. The last two games, we did very well the two clean sheets. As a goalkeeper I can’t do cleansheets alone, it’s part of the team.” Sangare told Sekhukhune United media.

“I think we are in a good moment to face Swallows on Friday and perform well. We need to take the maximum points, three points will be better for us.”

This is the second time in clubs young history that they’ve won three DStv Premiership games in row and they could set a new club record against Dube Birds tonight.
