iDiski Times Edition 101 Is Out Now!

Edition 101 of iDiski Times is out now and available for FREE at participating Shoprite stores.

We’ve just had a great celebration with our hundredth edition, and we knew we had to follow it up with something equally special.

In an exclusive interview with Rob Delport, Benni McCarthy gives an update about his time with Manchester United, and what it’s like working at the club he grew up supporting.

Lethabo Kganyago meanwhile speaks to young Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro, who is making waves and scoring goals at Chippa United.

Lorenz Köhler chatted with another in-form goalscorer, Ranga Chivaviro, who has 15 goals for Marumo Gallants this season, nine in the league and six in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Meanwhile, Velile Mnyandu learnt more about Michael Dokunmu, the youngAFCON-bound national U17 forward, who was born in South Africa but is half-Nigerian and plays for Vitesse in the Netherlands.

Lethabo also spoke to Sekhukhune United Head of Development and former South Africa U20 coach, Thabo Senong about happenings at the club and also about the current situation of junior national teams.

Robin-Duke Madlala caught up with former Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas, who is now working in Saudi Arabia, and who still harbours regrets about his time with the Amakhosi.

Our coaching guru Moritz Kossmann is back with another edition of The Drawing Board and sticking with our ‘theme’ this week, Moritz talks about forwards and forward play.

Of course, we also have our weekly contribution from our friends at iDiskiTV, as Junior Khanye, Tso Vilakazi and Nkululeko Nkewu look back at the weekend’s action.

There’s still news about Polokwane and Marumo Gallants mending the bridges, SAFA and SABC’s future together, the latest rumours, and much more in this week’s edition…

Please note that currently, the iDiski Times newspaper is only available at Shoprite stores in Gauteng. However until our distribution is national, something we are working towards as soon as logistically possible, you can read the free digital edition, released every Friday exclusively on our website.
