Orlando Pirates banked R7 million for lifting the Nedbank Cup trophy on Saturday, but how much prize money have they won in 2022/23 overall?
The Buccaneers beat Sekhukhune United 2-1 at a packed Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, to take home the R7 million prize money.

It’s their second domestic trophy in 2022/23 after they already won the MTN8 in October, taking home R8 million in prize money.
That’s already R15 million banked from the two domestic cups, more than any other team in Mzansi. In addition, the Sea Robbers pocketed R7.5 million for finishing second in the league.
They also received another R1.5 million for winning the Q4 Innovation quarter, plus another R2 million for making the semi-finals of the Carling Black Label Cup.
It has been a successful season for the Buccaneers on and off the pitch, with two trophies and an over prize money of R26 million.
