Ntseki Reveals What He Told Players At HT, Praises One Star

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has revealed what he told his players at half-time and also singled out Edson Castillo for special praise.

It was Ntseki’s debut on the sidelines, but he didn’t manage to collect all three points and had to settle to a goalless draw against Chippa United.

The new Amakhosi coach admitted he is “disappointed” with the result and also insisted his team “can do tactically better” before explaining what he told his players at half-time.

“We spoke about it at half-time, it is important for us to take shots at goal,” he told SuperSport TV.

“Because we can’t break a deep with those short passes, what is important how do we add numbers, what is important what type of crosses do we put in and I think it is something that we need to work on.”

Ntseki was asked to asses the performance of new midfielder Castillo, who already looks quite settled in Chiefs’ midfield.

“Since his arrival I think he’s been doing very well,” he added.

“If you look at how he manages the game, it’s a very high level of tactical management of the game.

“I think with the combinations that we’re working on, with him and Zwane, with him and Maart, and with him and Sithebe, something will come out [of it] and we’re looking forward to a positive contribution he is going to make for the club.”
