Hugo Broos has named a new-look starting eleven to face Namibia in their international friendly at Orlando Stadium this afternoon.
Broos promised that all 23 players would likely get a run out in the two games over the next few days starting with the Brave Warriors before the Tuesday clash against DRC.
Namibia are without their attacking talisman Peter Shalulile but it offers their emerging talent Prins Tjiueza the opportunity to impress against South Africa.
They are patiently awaiting the outcome between Burundi and Cameroon on Tuesday, with one foot into qualification for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, which would represent the two Cosafa teams in the tournament in Ivory Coast come January.
South Africa who have completed their qualification fixture are using the game as preparation for the continental showpiece and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where they are in Group C with Benin, Lesotho, Nigeria, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The game kicks off at 15h00 at eSgodini.
Here is how they line up:
South Africa XI: Mothwa, Monyane, Xulu, Sibisi, Maela, Sithole, Aubaas, Margeman, Kodisang, Saleng, Foster.
Subs: Goss, Mobbie, Kekana, Modiba, Mvala, Mmodi, Mbunjana, Mayambela, Lepasa, Tau, Mothiba
