AmaTuks are top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table, while Magesi moved up to second after the weekend’s fixtures.
Tuks moved above Orbit College on Friday already, as despite having two players sent off late, held on for a 2-1 victory over Upington City.
On Saturday there were good wins for Limpopo teams, as fourth-placed Baroka beat Pretoria Callies 2-1, Black Leopards beat Platinum City Rovers 3-1, while Venda Football Club moved off bottom spot by beating Hungry Lions 1-0 away.
Milford and Maritzburg United played to a goalless draw in the KwaZulu-Natal derby.
On Sunday Orbit College missed their chance to stay top as they lost 1-0 to Casric Stars. Stars, who were in the playoffs last season, moved up to sixth.
And with Orbit losing, Clinton Larsen’s Magesi team moved up to second with their 2-0 away win over Marumo Gallants.
