Ahead of their Nedbank Cup semi-final against Mamelodi Sundowns, Stellenbosch have announced a new sponsorship partnership.
Tsogo Sun has come on board at the Cape Winelands club, as the club’s official hospitality partner, and will be emblazoned on the club kit’s sleeve.
“This new partnership with Tsogo Sun will bring an extra dimension to Stellenbosch FC as we continue to build our brand amongst our competitors in the PSL,” Stellenbosch CEO Rob Benadie said in a statement.
“Tsogo Sun have been longstanding supporters of sport in South Africa, and I know their commitment to the club will provide the foundation from grassroots level upwards to ensure that Stellenbosch FC maintain the high standards that we aim to achieve on our incredible journey since 2016.”

Meanwhile, Tsogo Sun Chief Executive, Chris du Toit, also welcomed the new partnership and believes it will positively benefit the club and the wider football community in the Cape Winelands.
“We are delighted to partner with Stellenbosch FC – a club with great potential and one that epitomises the spirit of football in the Western Cape”, explained du Toit.
“Sport is an integral part of Tsogo Sun’s vision, from hosting and accommodating various sporting teams and their supporters at our complexes with world class entertainment facilities, to the excitement of our own online betting offerings.
“We look forward to growing this new partnership with the Stellenbosch FC club, and we thank CEO Rob Benadie for his commitment to the sport and the people of the Cape Winelands.”
