Richards Bay have confirmed that goalkeeper Salim Magoola has penned a new three-year deal.
The 29-year-old Uganda international has emerged as one of the first goalkeeper in the DStv Premiership since his arrival from Pretoria Callies.
With 22 clean sheets to his name in 59 games across all competitions, the well-travelled goalkeeper attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United.
But the Natal Richboyz have tied him down on a new three-year deal after retaining their top-flight status in the recent Premier Soccer League promotion/relegation playoffs.
Magoola has over 50 games of experience in CAF inter-club football having played for Al Hilal, Al-Merrikh SC and Kampala CC over the past decade.
