Richards Bay have announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe.
Sithebe, 31, was released by Amakhosi upon the expiry of his contract and has now been snapped up as free agent by the Natal Rich Boyz.
Bay unveiled Sithebe during the announcement of their new main sponsor, the Phakwe Group, which are set to pump in R60 million into the club over the next three years.
Sithebe arrived at Naturena in July 2022, joining the club as a free agent from AmaZulu.
Overall, he featured in 39 games across two seasons, but after making just 11 appearances in 2023/24, he was released by the club alongside Keagan Dolly, S’fiso Hlanti and Njabulo Ngcobo.
The latter has already been unveiled by Sekhukhune United.
