Bafana Bafana midfielder Sphephelo ‘Yaya’ Sithole looks set to join Primeira Liga side Gil Vincente ahead of the new season.
Sithole, 25, has been linked with several clubs over the last few months after Tondela failed to secure promotion from the Portugal Liga 2 and sources close to the player indicated he will be back in the top-flight next season.

iDiski Times understands Gil Vincente, who finished 12 in the league in 2023/24 are closing in on his services.
At the Gillistas, Sithole will reunite with his former Tondela coach Toze Marreco, under whom he made 21 appearances, scoring two goals and setting up two more before the 36-year-old left Tondela for Vicente in April.
The move will be the first time in three seasons the towering midfielder will play at the elite level since being relegated with B-SAD.
Despite his club career trajectory not going as planned the KZN Academy graduate has been a key figure in the national team under head coach Hugo Broos and played an integeral role in the third place finish the 2023 Africa Cup of Natuons in Ivory Coast.
