Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns kick off their 2024/25 Betway Premiership season with a tough Tshwane Derby clash against SuperSport United at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, September 14.
Having been the first and only team to get their hands on the DStv Premiership trophy, Masandawana will be hoping to replicate the same feat in the form of the newly-launched Betway premiership.
The Chloorkop outfit has undergone a major technical shake-up with the surprise exit of head coach Rulani Mokwena as well as a couple of first-team staff members.
In their quest for an eighth straight league title, Masandawana will have to get their season off on a good note against their city rivals.
