The 2024/25 Motsepe Foundation Championship fixtures have been revealed after a draft communication was sent to Premier Soccer League clubs for approval.
The quest for top-flight football will begin on Friday, August 23 with newly promoted Eastern Cape-based side Highbury FC facing the experienced Black Leopards at Isaac Wolfson Stadium.
Maritzburg United, who finished just outside the playoffs spot last season, will kick-start their season against Casric Stars in the evening fixture at 19:30 from Chatsworth Stadium.
The following day will also see newcomers Kruger United travel to Hungry Lions at Suzuki Stadium, meanwhile, two giants Upington City and JDR Stars will battle at Giant Stadium.
Lerumo United, who bought the Marumo Gallants franchise, will welcome nearly relegated Pretoria Callies. The last fixture of the day is between Venda FC and Milford FC at Thohoyandou Stadium.
On Sunday, Baroka FC, who narrowly lost out on PSL promotion in the playoffs, host Orbit College at Global Stadium, while relegated Cape Town Spurs make the trip to Tshwane to take on the University Of Pretoria after they also failed in the playoffs to gain PSL promotion.

The champions of the league will gain automatic promotion to the Betway Premiership, while second and third place finishers will go to the playoffs alongside the 15th-placed team from top-flight football.
