Kaizer Chiefs forward Wandile Duba has promised supporters a trophy this season.
Chiefs development product Duba has had a good start to the season under Nassredine Nabi’s leadership. He has contributed one assist so far, which was against Marumo Gallants in their 2-1 win.
Ephefeni Glamour boys will compete in the Betway Premiership, Carling Knockout Cup, and Nedbank Cup. After missing out on the MTN8, they already had a good start in the league with two wins and one loss.
After the international break, they will begin their Carling Knockout Cup journey against SuperSport United which consists of four matches before winning it.
Amakhosi haven’t won a trophy in the last 10 years, young Duba put his head on the block saying this season they will finally win the trophy for Chiefs and they are focusing on all competitions.
“We’re winning a trophy this season, and we’re concentrating on all competitions including the league. Our aim is to win all the trophies this season that we compete in.” Duba said.
Chiefs take on Marumo Gallants this weekend in the Cufa Cup at the Toyota Stadium as they look to continue their progress for the 2024/25 season.
