Marumo Gallants have released a statement which has cast a major doubt over their participation in Sunday’s Cufa Cup against Kaizer Chiefs.
Amakhosi were supposed to take on Gallants at the Bloemfontein Stadium on Sunday at 15:00.
The match is part of the big Cultural Urban Festival Africa which was launched at Naval hill in the City of Roses this morning and will take place from 3 October until 13 October, with music, arts and cultural events scheduled to take place in Mangaung.
However, less than 24 hours before kick off Gallants released a statement which has cast a doubt over whether the match will take place.
“Marumo Gallants FC would like to advise its supporters and fans that it is unable to confirm its participation in the CUFA CUP game against Kaizer Chiefs FC on the 13th of October 2024 due to a contractual dispute with the organizers,” the club stated.
“Marumo Gallants FC shall advise accordingly should the dispute be resolved on time to confirm participation.”
