Stellenbosch FC returned top of the DStv Diski Challenge log after Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns played to a pulsating draw, while TS Galaxy recorded another win as the reserve league lived up to expectation this weekend.
There were only two matches on Sunday as the day started with AmaZulu against Marumo Gallants. Usuthu made light work of Bahlabane Ba Ntwa with a thumping 3-0 win to leapfrog Magesi FC into 10th place.
In the other fixture, Stellies held off a resilient Sekhukhune United side to earn a narrow 3-2 win to move to the summit after closest chasers Chiefs and Sundowns could only share the spoils in a 2-2 draw.
Orlando Pirates were not in action as their game against Royal AM was postponed due to the KwaZulu-Natal side having been kicked out of the reserve league due to their FIFA ban.
