Champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies wrapped up the 2024 Hollywoodbets Super League season in style, as they defeated University of Western Cape 2-0 in the final match of the campaign at the Lucas Moripe stadium on Sunday.
Andisiwe Mgcoyi and Lehlogonolo Mashigo scored in the second half to get Sundowns to 83 points in 30 games with UWC finishing in second position for a consecutive season in a row with 69 points.
Sunday’s encounter was followed by the medal ceremony as they lifted the trophy for an unprecedented fifth time.

University of Johannesburg’s Matshidiso Masebe finished the season with the most clean sheets (14) as her side finished fourth with 65 points.
