Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr would not be drawn into commenting about Fiacri Ntwari’s future nor confirm if they’re working on bringing in Oswin Appollis.
The Rwandan goalkeeper made a move to Naturena at the start of the current campaign and has made five appearances in the league.
Reports have however been rife about the keeper possibly being sent out on loan to open one of their foreign spots.
Motaung spoke to Senior iDiski Times writer Matshelane Mamabolo in the latest edition (188), saying the club can’t control what people speculate about the club’s transfer activities.
“The challenge and the unfortunate part when it comes to the transfer window and us as Chiefs is that irrespective of what we say, we are always linked with every single player and all of our players are always said to be likely to leave,” Motaung told iDiski Times.
“To be honest, most of the time it is very far from the truth, but it is a narrative that we know we can’t really control, although those elements cause instability. We just need to be very responsible from our side and try to the best of our abilities to communicate with our supporters through our branches and other mediums so that they understand where we are going, so they can be with us on the journey.
“It is a difficult time of speculations, but we will make the official announcements and communicate at the appropriate time.”
