Frosler Addresses Chiefs Future With Contract Set To Expire

Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler says he is taking the next few months as it comes with regards to his potential contract renewal.

Frosler, 27, has been a near ever-present figure in the Chiefs squad this season, featuring in 21 out of a possible 28 games in all competitions under head coach Nasreddine Nabi.

While his future has been in doubt with his contract set to expire in June, the club and his representatives have been in talks over an extension for potentially another three years, this website has been informed.

However, the Bidvest Wits Academy product was not ready to speak about the situation as yet, with the deal yet to be signed between the two parties.

“So my contract comes to an end soon, as to what I can say about it; I can’t speak much about it, we will just take the next few months as it comes and see what happens in the near future,” Frosler said, when asked about his new deal by iDiski Times.

Frosler won the Telkom Knockout and league with Wits before his move to Chiefs in January 2019 and has racked up 159 games for the club since.
