Season-end is fast approaching, and Spurs find themselves in the relegation zone after suffering a 1-0 defeat against Pretoria University on Friday with Samuel Julies scoring the only goal of the match. Things are getting more tense for Brando Truter’s Upington City after a 1-0 loss against Milford FC. Siphosethu Ndlabi scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the second half with City now currently in 14th place with the same number of points as Spurs, separated by goal difference.Â
Pretoria Callies moved to 11th place after a massive win against Hungry Lions, beating them 2-1 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. The Romans have 33 points and need just three points to secure their status for next season.Â
