Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye has named his 2024/25 Betway Premiership best 11 including eight players from champions Mamelodi Sundowns and three from Orlando Pirates.
Ronwen Williams with 11 clean-sheets in 16 league matches is Khanye’s goalkeeper of the season with his teammate Musa Lebusa and Pirates’ starlet Mbekezeli Mbokazi pairing at centre-back in Khanye’s team while Khuliso Mudau and Aubrey Modiba were named at right-back and left-back positions, respectively.

The iDiski TV analyst went with three midfielders in Teboho Mokoena, Marcelo Allende and Pirates Patrick ‘Tito’ Maswanganyi, while his front three includes the top goal scoring Lucas Ribeiro on the right-wing, supported by Relebohile Mofokeng on the left with Iqraam Rayners being Khanye’s preferred centre-forward. Khanye further emphasised Ribeiro as his player of the season.
