Orlando Pirates have confirmed the loan of the Monnapule Saleng to Orbit College for the 2025/26 season.
The 27-year-old speedster hasn’t featured for the Buccaneers since December 2024 when they played against Al Ahly SC in the CAF Champions League group stages match at Orlando Stadium.

He did however feature for Bafana Bafana in the CHAN qualifiers first leg in April before being recalled by the club.
It then looked like the player and the club had smoked the peace pipe after a contractual saga that saw him miss training on numerous occasions and eventually being dropped from the squad.
The club, who never released any official communication regarding Saleng, have now confirmed his loan to newly-promoted Orbit College.
“Pirates can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Orbit College FC for the loan of Monnapule Saleng. The 27-year-old will spend the 2025/26 season with the newly crowned outfit,” the club stated.
Saleng has played 70 games under the leadership of Jose Riveiro and contributed 25 goals and 17 assists, helping the side to win three MTN8 trophies and two Nedbank Cup trophies.
