New Orlando Pirates signing Oswin Appollis has finally opened up on donning the black and white colours of the Soweto giants.
Appollis emerged as a surprise signing for the Buccaneers from Polokwane City during the current offseason after being heavy linked with their Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
The 23-year-old has already hit the ground running at Pirates and put in an impressive display after providing an assist for Relebohile Mofokeng in their come-from-behind 1-1 draw against Cypriot champions Pafos FC on Sunday morning.
Speaking to Thomas Mlambo and Phumudzo Manenzhe in his post-match interview, the diminutive Bafana Bafana speedster is focused on putting in more work and getting settled.
“It’s amazing, but still there’s a lot of work to be done,” he told SuperSport TV.
“We wanted to win; it’s a positive result. We did most of the stuff that the coach is asking.
“And we’ll just continue doing our best on the field.”
