The 27-year-old Congolese international, who scored six times in 19 games in all competitions last season despite joining the Naturena-based outfit midway, emphasized on the importance of having a good preseaon as they look to challenge for more honours next season.

“We are training hard to be ready for the upcoming season,” he told the club’s website.

“Besides training hard, soccer is also about discipline, including tactical discipline. If you master that, you will succeed.

“And if you want to challenge for trophies, one needs to have a good pre-season. It’s as simple as that, there is no other option. We are gelling nicely as a team, including the new players.

“I really feel positive looking ahead.”

The Glamour Boys have one more official pre-season match lined up, which is the Toyota Cup against Asante Kotoko on 26 July.
