Aphiwe Baliti has returned to Siwelele FC despite rumours of him joining Kaizer Chiefs in the last few weeks.
Baliti, 23, was reported to be joining Chiefs before the transfer window opened, but this publication can confirm that he has returned to Siwelele FC, which has been renamed from SuperSport United.
The 23-year-old trained with Siwelele on Monday morning for the first time since they started preparing for the 2025/26 season.
The Green and White recently announced Lehlohonolo Seema as head coach, while Andre Arendse will be the assistant coach.
Chiefs signed Nkanyiso Shinga and Paseka Mako in the left-back position adding to Happy Mashiane and Bradley Cross and competition for that position is expected to be more intense.
