Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein will host Bafana Bafana’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
Hugo Broos’ men host the Super Eagles on 9 September at home, and while the South African Football Association are yet to give an update on the match, a FIFA official confirmed the home stadium.
According to The Guardian in Nigeria, FIFA’s Head of Qualifiers and International Matches, Gordon Savic confirmed the Group C clash will be host at the Toyota Stadium.
The match will kick off at 18:00 South African time, and it four days after Lesotho face Bafana on Matchday seven.
Bafana currently top Group C comfortably with 13 points from six games, while Nigeria only sit in fourth with seven points.
If results go their way, Broos’ side could secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup in the upcoming international break.
