Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Sifiso Ngobeni has joined Cape Town City, the club announced on Thursday.
Ngobeni was released by Sundowns after spending three years at the club, having joined from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2022.
The 28-year old spent most of time out on loan – at SuperSport United and at AmaZulu FC twice.
Ngobeni, who was also wanted by Gavin Hunt’s Durban City, has been unveiled by the Citizens on Thursday.
Ngobeni has played 91 games in his Premier Soccer Legaue career and contributed with four assists.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic left-back could see himself competing with Tshegofatso Nyama in that left-back position at City.
