TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi explained how Puso Dithejane has been compared to Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.
Dithejane has started the season on a high note after netting three goals and contributing with two assists in five games. The 21-year-old has been named August “Player of the Month”.
Despite the top performances in the opening five games, Dithejane has missed out on the Bafana Bafana squad that will face Lesotho and Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers which Sukazi seems not to understand.
Speaking with Andile Ncube on MetroFM, Sukazi explained that Dithejane has the same sprint as Madrid superstar Vinicus Junior and a certain team in Croatia enquired about him and they were in disbelief.
“To me he is the best winger currently in South Africa, I’m saying that without any fear of contradiction,” Sukazi told Andile Ncube on MetroFM.
“He should be in Bloemfontein, he should be with Bafana. Puso is the best winger in the country today.
“A club from Croatia spoke to us last week, they asked for his GPS, they said it’s a standard of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior they compared.
“The coach spoke with our coach and said ‘are you sure he sprints like this’. We said yes. So he is not in the national team. They said it’s a Champions League standard, these kind of stats.
“I’m telling you, speak to coach Beganovic, he’ll tell you the name of the coach, he’ll tell you the name of the club. The shock that the coach had, he said it can’t be true. We said, it is, here is the data.”
