South African tactician Benni McCarthy guided Kenya to an emphatic 5-0 hammering of Seychelles in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier at Moi International Sports Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
Ryan Ogam picked up from where he left off in their 3-1 defeat to Gambia, cushioning home a header in the seventh minute.
Collins Sichenge then made it 2-0 in the 34th minute before Ogam grabbed his brace of the afternoon two minutes later.
It was 4-0 going into the halftime break for the Harambee Stars after Michael Olunga converted from the spot in added time of the first period.
The Kenyan skipper then also grabbed his second in the 66th minute to make it 5-0.
The win however for Benni and his side made little impact as they are in fourth position with two matches to go and already out of the running to qualify for the global showpiece in the US, Mexico and Canada.
