AmaZulu FC have announced the signing of midfielder Liam Bern after the player was declared a free agent on transfer deadline day.
The 22-year-old is one of four players who were declared free agents by the PSL DC after Cape Town Spurs were relegated to the ABC Motsepe League, which is regarded as an amateur league, thus the players becoming free agents and available to join clubs of their choices.

Usuthu snapped up Bern back in July 2025 but had to play the waiting game after Spurs contested his exit to the KwaZulu-Natal outfit at the Premier Soccer League DRC.
On Tuesday afternoon, Usuthu announced that they had snapped up Bern.
