Fadlu Makes Admission Despite First Raja Win

New Raja Club Athletic head coach Fadlu Davids admits that despite a comfortable 2-0 win away from home, there’s plenty of work still to be done.

Raja played their first game under Davids’ leadership, as they ran out comfortable winners on the evening Difaâ Hassani El-Jadidi on the road to move joint-top with MAS, who have a better goal difference.

The South African mentor admitted that there’s talent within the squad, but they lack unity which is what they will work on as the new technical team.

“When you join a club Raja any moment is a top moment, it’s a special club and it’s our job as a technical staff to make the most of the position that we are in,” Davids told HeSport.

“Like I said good individual players but it’s our job now to make them a unit and a strong team.

“So, lots of work to do still.”

Raja’s next match sees them take on MAS in a mouthwatering top-of-the-table clash on Friday, 3 October.
