Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the availability of talented young trio Mfundo Vilakazi, Luke Baartman and Asanele Velebayi for their second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup clash against AS Simba.
The Glamour Boys take on the Democratic Republic of Congo outfit on Saturday, 18 October, with the return leg set for Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Sunday, 26 October.
Amakhosi have now confirmed that all three players are available for selection as they look to seal passage into the group stages over the two-legged tie.
“Mfundo Vilakazi and Luke Baartman return from duty at the U20 World Cup in Chile,” the club said.
“Baartman and Asanele Velebayi have also been cleared to play after finalisation of their appealed cases, adding depth to the squad for the upcoming matches.”
Chiefs fans could finally get a glimpse of how their new signings could add value to the squad that has struggled for consistency of late.
