Rulani Mokwena‘s MC Alger booked their ticket for the CAF Champions League group stages, but made it hard for themselves.
Mokwena’s side had picked up a 1-1 draw away at Colombe FC and it was that away goal which remained the only decider between the two sides.

They couldn’t be separated in the second leg either, playing out a goalless draw in Algeria.
Nevertheless, Alger booked their ticket in the CAFCL group stages.
Mokwena remains unbeaten since taking over the Algerian champions, collecting five wins and four draws so far.
