Hugo Broos has announced his preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for next month’s friendly against Zambia.
Bafana qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, with the match against Zambia serving as preparation for the tournament.

Bafana are currently on a 24-match unbeaten streak on the field, although that official record was shortened by the points deduction from FIFA for fielding an ineligible player against Lesotho.
Broos had stated he might use the November window to give some new players a chance and named the likes of Puso Dithejane and Masindi Nemtajela in his initial selection.
The match is scheduled for 14 November, but SAFA are yet to confirm the venue.
