Raja Club Athletic head coach Fadlu Davids was left unhappy following his side’s goalless draw against rivals Wydad Athletic Club in the Casablanca derby.
Raja CA came to this game oozing with confidence after a great start this season in the Bolota Pro, also looking at the previous results against Wydad as they haven’t lost a derby since October 2022.
Davids’ side created numerous opportunities, especially in the first half but failed to convert them.
Even though they kept a clean sheet, and have now only conceded one goal in six matches, Davids was left disappointed with his side, stating that they should’ve won the game after creating so many chances.
“Of course a very good start, when we unlocked them with our movements, with our rotation,” Davids told the media in Morocco.
“They had a clear man-marking structure, exactly like we planned but these big opportunities that we created we have to score.
“We’re very disappointed by the result but we know that we have work as a team. We wanted to win, we’re an attacking team, we don’t step back.
“We should’ve been two or three up in the first-half.”
