Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo has weighed in on the continued snub of Percy Tau from the national team.
In recent months, Tau has fallen out of favour with Hugo Broos, who appears to have a large pool of players to choose from.

The left-footer is now plying his trade at Nam Dinh in Vietnam after parting ways with Qatar SC at the end of last season.
With Broos repeatedly omitting him even from the preliminary squads in previous camps, the likelihood of Tau being selected for the AFCON squad in Morocco next month appears minimal.
Khumalo believes the recent form of the players Broos has introduced is so good that it leaves Tau with little room to challenge the coach’s choices.
“It doesn’t look like [he’s part of the Bafana conversation], probably the last game he played, he didn’t impress the coach,” Khumalo told Ncube on the DNA podcast.
“It’s very challenging, it’s complicated. We understand he’s given much for the squad and he’s been loyal to the squad and all that.
“We really have to look at the magnitude in terms of the games that are ahead of us. We need the players who will really go out there and fight, I’m not saying he wouldn’t do that.
“But the last two games, they have played, even myself I would have changed. These boys are actually making it difficult for the technical team of Bafana to select.
“If we had time and we’re having three games or four, these names [Lorch, Tau], they would have been probably given a chance. The thing is now, we need ready players.”
