South African match officials Abongile Tom and Zakhele Siwela continue to carry the South African flag high after being selected to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations.
With less than a month before the beginning of the AFCON in Morocco, South African referee Tom and assistant Siwela have been selected by CAF to officiate in the upcoming showpiece.
The duo is expected to leave the country eight days before the tournament, as they will be attending a refresher course for seven days before the tournament kicks off on 21 December.
Both Tom and Siwelele were present at the previous AFCON in the Ivory Coast, with Tom went as far as officiating the Last 16 clash between Egypt and DR Congo, with Siwelele as the assistant referee.
