‘Nyoso’ provided an assist once again, in his second consecutive match as Amrabat gave Wydad a 57th-minute lead against Azam. This took his goal contribution to 10 in 10 this season making him the most influential player in the Wydad AC team.
The Red Castle go top of Group B with six points leaving Azam with no points after two games and AS Maniema Union with three points and still to play their game against Nairobi United.
