Chippa United head coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi has boldly stated that they are targeting maximum points against Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their Betway Premiership clash.
It’s sink or swim for the Chilli Boys as they find themselves bottom of the league table after accumulating eight points out of 42, they played for so far.

Chippa are currently on a nine-match winless run in all competitions with ‘Kanu’ being in charge of four games this season with two draws and two losses and will take charge of his fifth game against Amakhosi on Wednesday evening.
Vilakazi boldly told the media that this is the right time to get maximum points for them as such games needs no motivation.
“I am still maintaining the very same statement which I have mentioned and I am confident in that we will definitely save the team,” Vilakazi told the media.
“We will dig deep with the potential that the team has right now and also the commitment, the hard work that is there, it is just a matter of time where we just need to change fortunes in terms of scoring and winning games.
“But I think the first opportunity will be this one against Kaizer Chiefs where we are playing at home. We need to make sure that we win the game and as I have said in games like this, they’re self-motivation even to the players, they know what is at stake and they understand the position the team that is into right now.
“So, we need to make sure that before this long break at least let’s get the three points so that we can be equal with the team that is above us and when we comeback we will set a target going forward. But the big is one that we are playing on Wednesday.”
