Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye believes that his former side were denied a legitimate goal after playing to a goalless stalemate against TS Galaxy on Sunday.
Despite Tape Ira coming out tops with his heroics for the home side, which earned him the man of the match accolade, Chiefs fans felt aggrieved with a sense of injustice after Flavio Silva’s first half goal was disallowed.

The tie eventually ended in a share of the spoils even though Amakhosi moved into fourth position on the Betway Premiership standings and kept their record intact of being undefeated in their last fixture of a calendar year.
Khanye felt that the second assistant was in line and was wrong in not allowing the goal to stand.
“Unfortunately, when Silva scored, the referee said it’s an offside,” he said on iDiski TV.
“It’s not an offside that one, it’s a goal for me. I think the referee got it wrong.
“The linesman was in line. I think he was supposed to call the referee over to point to the centre line [to give the goal].”
