Mamelodi Sundowns sailed into the Morupule Charity Spectacular final after they hammered Sua Flamingoes 3-0 at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown on Friday morning.
Thapelo Morena, Lebogang Mothiba and Miguel Reisinho all scored as the Betway Premiership champions continue to keep fit with the league in recess as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations readies to kick off in two weeks’ time.
The Brazilians went into the interval leading 1-0 after Morena had broken the deadlock in the 22nd minute. Towering striker Mothiba then doubled Masandawana’s lead in the 57th minute before Reisinho put the result to bed three minutes later from the penalty spot.
Masandawana will take on either Morupule Wanderers or TAFIC in the final which is set for 20:00 this evening.
Miguel Cardoso’s charges currently find themselves in second spot on the league table with 26 points, two behind league leaders Orlando Pirates after 13 matches.
