Aarhus GF star Gift Links has given an update on his future, discussing interest from England, Belgium and France.
Links has been with Danish Superliga outfit since 2019, after joining from South African club Cape Town City.
He has enjoyed an impressive campaign this season, registering four goals and four assists in 22 appearances across all competitions, while bagging multiple Team of the Week nominations, too.
Despite attracting interest from abroad, the winger recently committed his future to the club by signing a contract extension until 2029.
Links confirmed that clubs from French Ligue 1, the English Sky Bet Championship, and Belgium have shown interest, while also making it clear that he is happy in Denmark and is not currently considering a return to South Afric
“At the moment, I’m really happy in Denmark, as you have seen I’ve even extended my contract to 2029,” Links told Thabiso Mosia on GameOn on Radio 2000.
“Of course, there was a lot of interest from teams, French Ligue 1 and Championship, Belgium and all that [but] I decided to commit to Denmark because I’m happy here, this is my happy place.
“It was so important for me to sign a new contract, so I’m happy. That’s why it was easier for me to commit.”
