Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung says they won’t make hasty decisions in hiring a new coach as this will disrupt the progress made by co-coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze.
Amakhosi parted ways with Nasreddine Nabi midway through the current campaign on a mutual contract termination and Amakhosi opted not to rope in a new man at the helm.

The Glamour Boys currently find themselves in fourth spot on the Betway Premiership standings on 24 points after 13 matches, but they have dropped quite a number of points both on the domestic and continental front.
‘Bob Steak’ has however ruled out any chance of a new coach coming in to steer the ship with Youssef and Kaze tasked with the project till the end of the 2025/26 season.
“We do not want to disrupt the team by bringing in a new coach who would arrive wanting to do things differently from what we are currently doing,” ‘Bob Steak’ said to Isolezwe.
“Coaches want to implement their own ideas and come with their own technical teams.
“These two gentlemen [Youssef and Kaze] have been with the team from the beginning, and we are building on that foundation.
“We want progress, and I believe it is clear that the team is improving.”
