The former TS Galaxy attacker racked up four goals with six assists during the current campaign which saw a host of clubs including Mamelodi Sundowns, who saw their bid rejected, show interest in his services but it was the US side that won the race for his signature.
A former Kaizer Chiefs youth product, Dithejane took to social media for the first time since making the move overseas.
“Hello Chicago Fire fans, I’m Puso Dithejane, I’m excited and honoured to join the lovely club.
“And be part of something special. I can’t wait to get on the pitch, give my all and play in front of you.
“See you soon, Chicago!
